解説
【１】「ザ・サバーブッズ」そのアルバムは、少年が成長する話するらしいので、「お母さんの鍵」が書いてある。アメリカで少年は、「Your mom」のものを使わなくちゃいけない時代だといわれる。だから、少年がお母さんの車を使って仕方ないから、ちょっと懐かしい感じになる。

ボンスノーと：十分に成長した人に「〇〇が母のモン？」(Is that your mom’s {car, clothes, glasses, etc.}と意地悪く言われたら、侮辱になる。


【２】「郊外での戦争」(Suburban war)って、「子供がやり合っている戦争」。詰まらないから、子供・少年たちは自分の近所を守るために、近所の仲間と組んで”戦争”する。

【３】”Sometimes"って、「時々」という直訳あるけど、”Sometimes I can’t believe it”は、なんかセットフレーズみたいだ。意味的に「考えたら、信じられないなぁ」のような感じがする。

【４】”I’m moving past the feeling”って、もっとも訳しづらいフレーズなの。直訳として、「感じを行き超えしている」のようなんだけど、そのなりに使ったら、解られないと思う。多分、「もうその感じがもう要らいようになってて、忘れっちゃってく」って感じだと思う。

【５】この使い方に、「ハード」って、「強い」か、「タフ」ような意味だ。あまり使われない言葉遣いような気がする。

【６】七十年代にアメリカの郊外のところが急激広げていったから、あの年代中にできた建造物などが多く、今更壊されていて新しいのができている。

【７】”cause”って、”Because”という略語だ。
